Benefits Of Being A Vegan On Your Health And The Enviroment.

Eating an entirely plant based diet can have many benefits on your health.

1) Less saturated fats:

Dairy and meat products are composed of a lot of saturated fats. Too much fat in the diet leads to health problems such as obesity, diabetes and heart disease. Eating a vegan diet reduces these fats, therefore reducing the risk of these health problems.

2) Healthy skin:

A vegan diet contains many nuts and vegetables which provide vitamins such as A and D, which contribute to having good skin. Many people who eat a vegan diet will notice that they get less blemishes.

3) Less risk of cancer:

Plant based foods provide phytochemicals which help prevent cancer and heal the body from cancer. They also boost protective enzymes.

The vegan diet also has benefits on the earth.

Environment:

Growing animals takes up much more resources than growing plants. By eating vegan, less animals will be produced as there won't be as much of a demand to produce them, benefitting the environment.
