How To Become A Vegan

Becoming a vegan is definitely a life changing choice to make. Not only do you have to cut out meat, but you also have to cut out ALL foods with any traces of animal products in them. For example, you cannot eat chocolate, cookies, crisps, jellies unless they state that they are vegan or have no animal products listed on the information label. Step 1: Educate yourself. In order to maintain getting all the macronutrients while being vegan, you must inform yourself of substitutes of meat, chicken etc. Cutting out meat and chicken will leave you with little to no protein intake. Therefore, research what foods can substitute chicken and meat. For example: tofu and quorn are two plant based proteins which can be used as a substitute for meat. Step 2: Try the food.
